GE Type 85A Stainless-steel Neutral Grounding Resistors

GE Type 85A neutral grounding resistors are used for resistance grounding of industrial power systems. They are connected between the neutral of wye-wound transformer or generator and ground. The current rating of the grounding resistor is selected to allow sufficient fault current to flow to operate protective ground fault relays and yet not be greater than necessary to limit the fault current.
